Ibiza JoySail 2024: new format and new website
This year’s edition of the Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta is full of new features.
These include a new format for the record attempt on the Palma-Ibiza crossing.
Also, a new, more dynamic, detailed, and accessible website that invites users to learn more about this exclusive Mediterranean event and makes registration easier for participants.
Palma/Ibiza (May 13th 2024). Ibiza JoySail, the superyacht regatta that will be taking place from 19 to 22 September 2024, has lots of new developments this year, two of which include:
A change in format for the record attempt on the Palma-Ibiza crossing, which will offer contenders a one-month window to beat the record held by the Swan 115 Moat. Over the month, yachts will be able to choose the optimal weather conditions to eclipse either the overall time set by Moat in 2022 or the record for their category. This change in format also means that the yachts will now be racing for four days on coastal races in the crystal-clear waters of Ibiza and Formentera.
Meanwhile, a new, more dynamic website has been launched, designed to deliver an enhanced and more accessible digital experience, both for participants and followers.
The new platform, available at ibizajoysail.com, has been meticulously fashioned to reflect the essence and spirit of the race: adventure, excitement, fun, relaxation, sport, and the beauty of the sea and seascape.
With a snazzy and easy-to-browse design, users will have access to the 2024 race announcement and the registration form, which itself has been designed to streamline all the procedures needed to confirm participation. With this upgraded design, Ibiza JoySail is simplifying the registration process as much as possible.
The top menu already lists the yachts that have signed up for this year’s edition, as well as the participants and the results of previous editions.
What’s more, it features a multimedia gallery with a handpicked selection of photos and videos that showcase the magic of Ibiza JoySail and the overall experience.
The Ibiza JoySail organising committee takes the utmost care of participants and offers an extraordinary service for competing yachts, such as accommodation with special conditions, a repair yard for emergency services, sail and rigging services, transport to Ibiza, and an array of other services managed by the Marina Ibiza Concierge Service, which can be found in a special section on the website.
The launch of this new website reflects Ibiza JoySail’s commitment to providing participants, visitors, and fans with a truly exceptional experience from the very first contact to the very last sunset. With a clear focus on quality, safety, and participant satisfaction, and with the guarantee of constant support from one of the yachting industry’s leading companies, Ibiza JoySail is already a benchmark in the superyacht world for the end of the European season.
